From 7 September 2026 until the end of October 2027, the main Vienna line will be closed. During this period, the CAT will operate using premium coaches – more frequently than before.

No advance booking

An airport taxi in Vienna has to be booked in advance. The CAT does not. Simply head to the Wien Mitte / Landstraße stop or the bus station in front of Terminal 3 – buses run every 12 minutes between 7 am and 7 pm, and every 15 minutes during off-peak hours. Every day, seven days a week, from early morning until late.

Please note

The CAT City Check-in service is not available whilst the main route is closed. Your luggage will travel in the luggage compartment of the coaches; check-in takes place as usual at Vienna Airport.
