The City Airport Train (CAT) offers persons with reduced mobility a 50% discount on single and return tickets – provided they have an Austrian disability card with at least 70% disability or an equivalent note. Accompanying persons travel free of charge.

Can I book a return ticket, if I do not know yet the exact date of the return journey?

Accepted Answer

Yes – a CAT return ticket can be purchased without a fixed return date: at the counter or ticket machine it is valid for 30 days, an online ticket for 6 months from the date of purchase.

Yes; when booking online, you can decide whether you want to print out the ticket or show it on your mobile device (as a PDF or wallet ticket).
