The general provisions of the "ÖPT" shall apply to the transport of hand luggage. The transportation of bicycles and other larger sports equipment (e.g. skis, surfboards and the like) as well as bulky and overlarge objects in the trains shall not be permitted. In case of doubt, the CAT staff shall have the right to determine if transportation is permitted.
The general provisions of the "ÖPT" apply to the transport of animals.
Dogs must be held on a leash during transport and muzzled.
In contrast to "ÖPT" provisions, the Lost & Found Counter at Vienna International Airport (fundbuero@viennaairport.com) shall be responsible for receiving objects that are lost or forgotten in CAT trains and facilities as well as for making relevant radio announcements to this counter at the airport. The handling of objects by the Lost & Found Counter at Vienna International Airport shall be determined by the legal regulations set forth in § 388 of the Austrian Civil Law Code and the statutes of the Lost & Found Counter.
A cleaning fee of € 60.00 will be charged to passengers who dirty CAT facilities, supplies or equipment.
