The founding City Air Terminal GmbH represents the last step required to link Vienna International Airport (www.viennaairport.com) to the City of Vienna in keeping with state-of-the-art international standards. With the CAT, Vienna International Airport and the Austrian Federal Railway Corporation ("ÖBB") (www.oebb.at) have created the fourth air-rail link in the world.

“City Air Terminal Betriebsgesellschaft m.b.H.” (CAT) was founded by Vienna International Airport AG and the Austrian Federal Railway Corporation as a joint subsidiary in February 2002.

Ownership: 50.1% Flughafen Wien AG and 49.9% Austrian Federal Railway Corporation ("ÖBB").
